Bodalla Green is a unique housing development on the northern edge of the town in the far south coast of NSW. It is envisaged to meet growing demand for high quality housing in rural areas.
Dickson Rothschild did the master plan and designed the 21 houses and guided the project through the application process.
The design responds to the dairy countryside and the historic working village character of the town, while providing high quality modern living and convenience.
The houses are set on the top of a hill with a variety of view offerings to the sweeping district hills. These include to the historic 1800s built granite church designed by Edmund Blackett and to the lush valley of the Bodalla countryside.
All houses have key environment friendly features including rainwater tanks, passive heating and cooling design, and are built from local materials.
